Amano hashidate

There are three greatest views in Japan, one of which is Amano hashidate.

There was a ladder connecting the upper and lower world. While the god was sleeping, the ladder fell down and it became Amano hashidate.

We get on the cable car to go to Kasamatsu park to see Amano hashidate. You can borrow the wheelchairs in the park. There is a ramp to get to the observatory, but all places are not accessible.

In the cable car, there are some steps. Furthermore, there are other steps at the platform. If you can go up and down the stairs with someone's help, you can go to the park.

Ine no Funeya

Ine no Funaya is designated as the most beautiful village in Japan.
Ine no Funaya is a name of the houses that are unique architectures; the first floor is open to the sea and second floor is a living space. Along Ise bay (Ise-wan), these 250 Ine no Funayas are lined about 5 km and the area is also designated as an important Preservation Districts for Groups of Historic Buildings. You can see the traditional Japanese sceneries that were created by the resident’s wisdom and Japanese beautiful sea and nature.
You can see the beautiful Ine no Funaya along Ise-bay (Ise-wan) only from the bay side. If you get on the Ine Bay cruising, you can enjoy seeing the view with the sea birds and have a good cruise for about 25 minutes.

While getting on the cruise, you do not worry about the accessibility. There is a slope to get on the cruise and there is a accessible bathroom. Many people in the wheelchair use the cruise.

Ine no funeya is accessible touristy place and you feel the Japanese ansester's life.

Shiga

Baumkuchen

Shiga is known for the largest lake in Japan and hikone-jo(hikone castle). Shiga is known for baumkuches of Club Harie. La Collins is the name of a shopping place and factory of Club Harie. We can see how the baumkuches are made and eat them. Not only this, but also we can see the seaneric places there.

When you go to LA Collins by car, please turn right at the entrance. Then you can see the handicapped parking. If you go to the left side, you can not find the handicapped parking and the road is not suitable for the wheelchair.
Please along the road from the parking.

You can eat freshly cooked baumkuches in the cafe on the second floor. You can go to the cafe by the elevator.

The bathroom for the people having difficulties in the area.
Please stop by when you go to Shiga.

Coming to Tokyo and looking for the best way to get around the city? Good news for visitors: two of Japan’s leading public transport operators have released special-edition IC transportation cards with Japanese-inspired designs.
Offered by JR East, the new Welcome Suica card features a classic design of cherry blossoms on a red background. It’s available with prepaid amounts ranging from ¥1,000 to ¥10,000. Pasmo’s version of the tourist transportation card, on the other hand, is called the Pasmo Passport and it features world-famous Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty posing in front of iconic landmarks in Tokyo and Japan, including Mt Fuji and Tokyo Skytree.

If you find it cumbersome carrying around coins, this is the perfect way to travel cashless. Just like any regular Suica or Pasmo card, these tourist-edition cards are reloadable and can be used to pay fares on all trains (except shinkansen), buses and metro lines, as well as to make purchases at conveniences stores, vending machines and selected shops and restaurants that accept IC cards.

There’s no discerning difference between the two cards in terms of usage. The only exception is that for Suica, there is no upfront deposit; you have to purchase a stipulated prepaid amount to start. Meanwhile, you can get a Pasmo card with an initial amount of just ¥2,000, which includes a non-refundable issuing fee of ¥500.
You can reload both cards with more credit as and when needed at train stations nationwide. These cards also offer deals and discounts at selected attractions (check their respective websites for details).
However, do note that these cards can only be used for 28 days, after which they become invalid. But hey, the designs make them a cool memento to remember Tokyo by. Welcome Suica can be purchased at JR East Travel Service Centers, Narita and Haneda airports, as well as major train stations in Tokyo. Pasmo Passport is available at Narita and Haneda airports as well as select train stations across the capital.

Kofu, Yamanashi prefecture

Japan is accessible country even though cities are located in the country side.

Kofu is known for history and fruits such as peaches and greaps.
Hoto(ほうとう)
If you like Japanese castles, you can see some castles.

Station
Kofu station is very accessible.
Elevetors are accessible to go out of the station.
Bathrooms are accessible; there are enough rooms to move around in there even by a wheelchair. Please see the last pictures, bathrooms in the station.

Sidewalk
Sidewalk near the station is wide enough to Go around by the wheelchair, but Kofu is surrounded by the mountains, so you can see many slopes.
Sightseeing
Historical places near Kofu station are accessible to enter. There are lifts and ramps, but the inside is not accessible.

For instance, we need to take off our shoes where we go into the places or the inside is too narrow to go around by the wheelchair.
In conclusion, Kofu station is so accessible, however historical places might not be accessible. Thus, you need to confirm if the places in Kofu are accessible beforehand. O also recommend that you take people who can help you. It is so much helpful to look around Kofu.

You can use Minato Mirai line, which is JR, get to the stadium. There are two exits. One exit(North exit) has an accessible elevetor and washroom. This exit (North exit) is far from the stadium, but the other side(South exit)does not have the accessible elevetor and washrooms.

When you get the stadium, let the staff know that you need a help to go to the upper floor. There are accessible seats on the upper floor, but the elevators cannot be seen, so you need to telk the staff that you want to go the upper floor.

Namba is one of the biggest city in Osaka.

Doton-bori(道頓堀)

There is a big path in Namba area. The path goes the bridge,Doton-bori, famous for the tourists.
The path is very crowded and has some bumps, thus you might feel uncomfortable.
There is another pavement besides the main path,does not have many people like that of main path. I recommend you use the way.
I recommend that you go to Doton-bori with your companions.

Accessiblity
There are six stations in Namba area.
Please think Nankai-bamba(南海なんば) station as the base station because the station is the biggest station in the area.

I'm gonna explain how to get the subway(Osaka metro 御堂筋線)from Nankai-bamba. Osaka metro(御堂筋) connects to Umeda(Osaka) station, the biggest station in Osaka.

1. Go out of the ticket gate at the center exit.
2. Turn left and go straight to the stop.
3. There is the elevator on your right side.
4. Go to the ground.(1st floor)
5. Go straight and go out of the station because there is no way to go to the subway inside of the station.
6. Go to the elevetor, No. 1 exit, outside next to the building.
7. Go to the underground.
8. You'll see the subway station.

In terms of bathrooms, there are many accessible bathrooms in the stations, the big buildings abd mall such as Takashimaya (高島屋). If you are wondering how to move around Numba, refer to the website below.

Asakusasa is known for -syao-ji(Senso surain)
The way of going to Senso-ji from the subway is confusing.

If you choose the wrong ticket gates, you cannot go to the grand floor because there are no elevators connecting the grand floor.
Thus, you need to choose the right ticket gets to go out of the station.

Please follow the "elevator symbol"or you should ask the station staff before going out of the ticket gates. I have put some pictures as reference.

Around Senso-ji, the pavements are narrow, but the area has many accessible places.
You can go into Senso-ji because there is hidden elevator next to Senso-ji.

You can get on Jinriki-sya(rickshaw)
as well. You can look around Asakusa without using the wheelchair.

However, finding accessible bathrooms could be hard since Asakusa is old traditional area. I really recommend that you go to the bathroom in the station around Asakusa.

Seto area in Aichi prefecture
Seto area is known for Seto-yaki, ceramics. (See No.2 picture)Seto-yaki was passed on from China, and it spreaded within Seto-area. The Seto-yaki is very beautiful, and it represents Japanese style ceramics.

There are does not have accessible places a lot. The roads have bumps and steps and stores are small and have threshold. However, roads are usually wide enought to pass through.

Setokura- museum (瀬戸蔵ミュージアム)

You can see many fish and eat them on the road. You also can buy them. The road is very wide.

This park is accessible.

2.You can look around the park. There are some muddy and sandy places due to the park. Mainly, roads are flat excluding the mudy areas and bridges. I recommend that you bring your assistance.
